New Konkrompe Senior High School, one of the Community based schools in Atebubu-Amantin has established a mini-hospital on campus for staff and students.
It was community based but has upgraded to Senior High due to its infrastructure.
It is swiftly competing with sister schools like Atebubu Senior High and Amantin Senior high.
Currently, the school offers all courses except technical and vocational which will be added very soon.
The hospital project was financed by the Parent/Teacher Association( PTA) of the school.
The mini-hospital is to serve the school and even the community. Their services will cover NHIS.
Headmaster Amponsah Fei; PTA Chairman, Mr Amakye and the Nurse in charge pleaded with philanthropists and individuals to aid them with drugs, Hospital beds, TV sets and other facilities.
Headmaster Amponsah Fei pleaded for tables and chairs in the dining hall. According to him, it is one of the challenges in the school for now.
Mr Fei, the headmaster of New Konkrompe SHS concluded that the government has done 100% of its part, it’s left with the natives and individuals to also help to enhance full development in the school.
