Students of Amantin Senior High School in the Atebubu-Amantin municipality in the Bono-East region learn under acacia trees due to lack of infrastructures in the school.
Some General Arts students sit under the trees for tuition because they have no classrooms to enhance quality and standard education.
People and indigenes of Amantin are calling on the government and other philanthropies to come to the aid of the school, the school falls short in academics due to the inadequate classrooms and other institutional facilities.
“We are pleading on the behalf of up and doing people and able bodied men to help us to get a better education. As the ancient dictum stipulate ‘ The Young Ones Are the Tomorrow of The Nation’ let All Come Together to build Amantin Senior High School.” – a native pleads.
