The 35-year-old tactician beat off competition from Mariano Barreto, Prosper Narteh Ogum, Annor Walker and Vladislav Viric. He guided Hearts of Oak to win their 21st Premier League title to end their eleven-year trophy drought.
The Kumasi-born gaffer also led the Phobians to clinched the MTN FA Cup trophy after defeating AshantiGold SC in the final.
